Service Plus Maintenance Plans
Prevent Breakdowns Before They Happen
East Tennessee’s climate puts real year-round demands on HVAC equipment. Summers are hot and humid — your air conditioner runs for months under heavy load. Winters bring cold snaps that push heating systems hard. A system that isn’t serviced regularly is one that’s quietly building up toward an expensive failure.
Aire Care’s Service Plus maintenance program visits your home twice per year — once in spring before the cooling season, and once in fall before heating season. Each visit includes a thorough cleaning and inspection of your system’s key components, a full performance check, and an honest report on your system’s condition. If we find something developing — a failing capacitor, a dirty coil, a refrigerant issue — you’ll know about it before it turns into a middle-of-summer emergency AC repair call or a January furnace repair at the worst possible time.

Why Regular Maintenance Pays for Itself
Independent energy studies consistently show that properly maintained HVAC systems operate 15–25% more efficiently than neglected ones. For a typical East Tennessee home, that efficiency gap shows up directly on your monthly utility bills — often recovering the full cost of a maintenance plan in energy savings alone.
Beyond energy savings, the bigger financial benefit is avoiding the repairs that maintenance prevents. A dirty condenser coil quietly reduces efficiency and stresses the compressor for months before anything obvious happens. A capacitor that’s weakening will eventually fail — usually at peak demand in July. Finding it during a spring tune-up costs far less than an emergency AC repair call in summer. The same logic applies to furnace repair issues caught in fall versus discovered in January.
Maintenance also extends equipment life significantly. An HVAC system that’s cleaned, lubricated, and tuned regularly will routinely reach 20+ years — versus 12–15 for a neglected system. That’s years of additional life before you need a new HVAC installation.

Maintenance Program FAQs
Common questions from East Tennessee homeowners about Aire Care’s Service Plus program.
How much does the Service Plus maintenance program cost?
Contact us for current pricing on Service Plus plans. The plan pays for itself quickly through energy savings, the 10% member discount on any needed repairs, and by catching small issues before they become expensive emergency HVAC repair calls.
How often do you visit under the maintenance plan?
Twice per year — a spring visit focused on your cooling system (air conditioner or heat pump) before summer, and a fall visit focused on your heating system (furnace or heat pump heating mode) before winter.
Does the plan cover repairs, or just tune-ups?
The plan covers two professional tune-up visits per year. If a repair is needed during or after a visit, members receive 10% off all parts and labor. See our HVAC repair page for details on what repairs typically cost.
Can I enroll if my HVAC system is older?
Yes. Maintenance is arguably more important for older systems — keeping aging components clean and catching developing issues early is often the difference between getting several more years out of an older unit versus an unexpected failure. We’ll give you an honest assessment of your system’s condition at enrollment.
Is the plan transferable if I sell my home?
Yes. Any remaining Service Plus plan coverage can be transferred to the new homeowner — which can actually be a selling point. You can also transfer it to a new property if you’re moving.
